Sheria Kiganjani recently hosted a series of impactful events aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and fostering the growth of youth-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across three districts in Dar es Salaam as part of the Digital Business Program activities under the Going Beyond Project.
On November 21st, 22nd, and 25th 2024, we brought together 155 aspiring business owners from Kigamboni, Kitunda, and Kinondoni to engage with key business development service providers, from Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA), UTT Asset Management Investment Services (UTT AMIS), Azania Bank, and local government Development officers. These events were designed to offer valuable insights into business laws, regulations, money management skills, investment skills, and sustainable loan opportunities available to MSMEs. From 10am to 1pm participants had the chance to learn from experts and gain practical knowledge that will support their business growth and sustainability in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
This initiative underscores the Going Beyond Project’s commitment to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs with the tools and resources needed for success. By fostering partnerships between youth entrepreneurs and critical service providers, we aim to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports sustainable growth, financial inclusion, and innovation. We are grateful to all the organizations that contributed their expertise, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to provide ongoing support and resources for youth-led businesses across Tanzania.
